A Good News Update
With all that is going on in the world, this Update is about sharing good news and providing you with a summary of our most recent trip to Poland & Ukraine, the Ukrainian Art Exhibit at Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center, and an exciting announcement coming on Giving Tuesday!
Aid Delivery to Poland & Ukraine
It’s been just over 5 weeks since our Team returned from our most recent trip to Poland & Ukraine. Because of your generosity, we had the joy of hand-delivering over $21,000 in financial support and tangible aid raised during our Summer Support Campaign!
These vital resources are lifeblood to the efforts of our partners, God’s Light Church in Lublin, Poland, and The Ukrainian Dream Charity in Lutsk, Ukraine, and are such a boost to the spirits of these volunteers who daily pour out of themselves to help Ukrainian refugees, IDPs, and brave souls on the front lines.
Ukrainian Art Exhibit and Upcoming Art Auction
If you’re looking for a reason to get away to the mountains of North Georgia, then the ongoing Ukrainian Art Exhibit at the Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center is your ticket!
The exhibit features 21 unique works of art by Ukrainian Student artists from the Lutsk Art School in Ukraine, and is open 7 days a week through December 21. The art auction, hosted by our friends at Bullseye Auctions & Appraisals, will begin December 11 with final bids on December 21. So mark your calendars, you definitely don’t want to miss out!
We had a wonderful time at the opening reception for the exhibit at SNC. Thank you to those who were able to join us!
Giving Tuesday
The Tuesday after our U.S. Thanksgiving has become known as Giving Tuesday, a day of global and radical generosity where many nonprofits, like ourselves, kick off end-of-year giving campaigns to make it easy for you to make a difference.
This year, The IBC will be announcing a new way for us to expand our global impact and serve a new demographic of people impacted by war and conflict. So stay tuned!
